Join us in celebrating LGBTQ+ community! Throughout the summer the ACLU of Massachusetts will be participating in a series of Pride events across the state.

Sign-Making/T-shirt Decorating Pride Party

Get ready for Pride with the ACLU of Massachusetts! The ACLU MA Action Team is hosting a sign-making and t-shirt decorating party to get ready for all the upcoming Pride events. We will provide art supplies, signs, and ACLU MA Deed Team T-shirts for decorating. You are also welcome to bring your retain T-shirts/signs to decorate. Food and drinks will be provided.

As Pride Month is upon us, cities around the United States are hosting parades and many other events to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and its history as well as its continuing fight for equal rights despite what advocates notice as "bullying" from the Trump administration.
Pride Month commemorates the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in New York, when police raided the Stonewall Inn, a prominent gay bar in Manhattan's Greenwich Village. The subsequent protests are credited with a shift in LGBTQ+ activism in the U.S.
Boston is one of many cities celebrating Pride Month this year, including with a parade on June 14.
