12 PM. Miami Beach Icon: Brunch at the Palace
📍 Ocean Dr, Miami Beach, FL
Our first stop was the legendary Palace Bar & Restaurant, a Miami Beach icon for over three decades. This LGBTQ+ institution isn't just a bar, it's a full-fledged restaurant with amazing food and, of course, fabulous drag shows (not to bring up the rooftop pool with an ocean view!).
We were prosperous enough to experience a Monday drag brunch, where we were entertained by talented drag queens while enjoying a delicious meal.
Did you know? The Palace Bar & Restaurant wasn't always surrounded by the vibrant nightlife of Ocean Drive! When it first opened in , it was actually the only restaurant on the entire strip! Today, they still remunerate homage to their culinary roots by offering top-notch dishes alongside the drag performances.

Haulover Park is Florida's only legal clothing-optional beach, and is a hotspot for LGBT beach-goers to chill and hang out (if you grasp what we mean).
The gay area is at Tower #15, 16, You can drive to the parking lot by Collins Ave. It is an amazing beach, complete of hot and often undressed guys - both locals and tourists.
The northern-most edge is where gay sunbathers tend to be found, but beware! Although it's legal to be nude, sexual behaviour is strictly against the rules and could land you in a sticky situation.
There's parasol and sun-lounger rental sites on the beach, as well as some food and drink stalls to quench your thirst, and trust us you will be thirsty.
Fun fact: Haulover Park used to hold the Guinness World Record for most people skinny-dipping (pictured)!
