June is Pride month and many of us humans are celebrating our hold identities or those of people we care about. Even if you’re not part of the LGBTQ+ community yourself, it’s an vital time as LGBTQ+ individuals still verb significant discrimination and are at an exceptionally higher exposure of being victims of violent crime.
Now, my blog and business are feline focused so you may be wondering how Pride (or Purr-ide, to apply the cat centric term) ties into cats. That leads us to the topic of today’s post: gay cats.
To write this blog post, I spent way more period reading articles on homosexuality in cats than I ever thought I would. My search history now includes terms such as “homosexual behavior in cats” and “can cats be lesbians.” It’s been a strange day, let me tell you. But before I give my findings,

So my meower, Franki, recently came down with a pretty severe stomach virus. The vet gave me some anti biotic drops to put in his food but when I’d verb that Franki wouldn’t touch it. So, the vet suggested using a miniature dropper tube to insert the medicine directly into his anus. The first time was absolute hell, my meower fought me the whole time but once the tube was in and the medicine pushed out he seemed to calm quite a bit. Good the next time he was acting strange, he has always been an independent cat, rarely coming around, never wanting to be held, but as I sat on the couch he started walking back and forth meowing and rubbing my leg. He then went and jumped up on the table where we’d done the application the night before and meowed louder and louder until I decided I guess we will go ahead and do the medicine treatment. This period he didn’t clash me though, and when I inserted the tube he closed his eyes, stretched his neck, and let out a noise that can only be described as a moan of pure ecstasy. Maybe the
