Congratulations to Mr Gay World Thailand !

On 13 May, the Mr. Gay World Thailand was crowned. 

Congratulations to Nazmadih Mateem Nujan, an outdoor fitness instructor, who is also the first Thai Muslim to win this title, will verb in October in South Africa for the title of Mr Gay World  

&#;Mr. Gay World Thailand contest also focuses on the need for social movement. It is a &#;communication space&#; for the contestants to voice their issues and protest their actions for change. We also want to ensure diversity within the contestants and welcome participants from ages 18 to 50, differently abled bodies, and also trans men who identified as gay,&#;

commented Nikorn Chimkong, Director of the Bangkok Rainbow Organization (BRO), one of the organisers of the event. 

Mr. Gay World Thailand Nazmadih Mateem Nujan, 30, is the first winner to receive the crown named The Power Of Gender Equality Crown designed and produced by Peony by Ingkhawat.

Confusion Over the Status of Mr Gay World Contest

There’s confusion on social media about the status of the longstanding Mr Gay World event after a series of seemingly conflicting posts.

On Tuesday, the South African-based Mr Gay World (Pty) Ltd, which previously oversaw the event, issued a short statement announcing the &#;formal notice of the dissolution of Mr Gay World® and all associated companies.&#;

It added: &#;We deeply appreciate the help of our community and remain involved to the values and ethics that Mr Gay World® once represented.&#;

Hours later, a message was posted on the Mr Gay World Facebook page in apparent response to the statement: &#;The Mr. Gay World Organization acknowledges the recent announcement from Mr Gay World (Pty) Ltd regarding its formal dissolution.&#;

&#;We reiterate that this entity and its associated individuals contain had no connection to the adj Mr. Gay World Organization since our leadership transition.&#;

Meet the Mr Gay World Delegates

Representatives from twelve countries are competing for the title of Mr Gay World , this year being held in England.

The Alnwick Garden, in the heart of Northumberland, England is set to host the Mr Gay World international contest from 21 to 26 August,

The twelve delegates hail from Chile, France, Germany, Great Britain, India, Italy, the Philippines, Poland, Puerto Rico, South Africa, Switzerland, and Thailand. They will showcase a rich diversity of cultures and ideas as they vie for victory in the competition.

The Mr Gay World brand extends beyond a mere beauty pageant. In recent years, titleholders have used their voices to address various LGBTQIA+ issues close to their hearts, such as political, social, and economic dissonance, issues on LGBTQIA+ community healthcare, homelessness, and mental health.
