But Australian-born Travis Fimmel has confessed that he does not like being in the limelight.
The year-old Viking actor has admitted that he could live without performing and being in front of the cameras altogether.
'I've never once enjoyed [acting], not once,' Travis admitted in the latest edition of Esquire.
The Young man Swallows Universe star described his function as 'just a job' and added: 'I mean, it's deep work-wise – you have to be deep to continue working. But I don't receive bogged down in it.'
The one-time model, who was born in the miniature town of Echuca in Victoria, also revealed he would happily return to country life - but he hasn't made enough coins to retire.
Travis also confessed that he kept focusing on his acting career because he did not know 'what else to do'.
'What keeps a carpenter working all the time? What keeps anyone getting up in the morning and going to work? What keeps us doing it?' he questioned.

Aussie hunk Travis Fimmel first made his way into the hearts of women around the world when he appeared on the strike TV series Vikings.
Born in Echuca, Victoria, the year-old former model played Ragnar Lothbrok for four seasons on the popular historical series and most recently starred in Dune: Prophecy and Netflix’s adaptation of Trent Dalton’s Aussie novel, Boy Swallows Universe.
